CZ shooters bring gold and silver from Indonesia!
Top competitors from more than twenty countries and twenty-four tough shooting situations – this was the challenge of the 2016 IPSC Australasia Handgun Championship held in Surabaya, a city on the northeast coast of the island of Java, on August 29.
Four days later, two medals made of the most precious metals were sparkling around the necks of two shooters from the CZ factory team – a well-earned gold for Ljubiša Momčilovič (SER) and silver for Robin Šebo (CZE) in the Production Division.
In the Production Division, Momčilovič scored an overall of 2099 points with stable performance throughout the competition and precision shooting with very few errors. The Czech representative, Robin Šebo, made up for his second place by winning the subsequent Shoot Off – an additional event popular with the audience, in which two shooters compete in rapid shooting with reloading on a series of steel falling targets. Another Czech representative and recent winner of the Canadian Open, Josef Rakušan, finished fourth in the Standard Division.
CZ company and the CZ Shooting Team would like to thank the organizers, referees and all participants for the excellent atmosphere in the championship. Congratulations to the winners!
